Browser differences, operating system settings, driver configurations, and connection type can all affect results. Browser-based keyboard testing has specific limitations that you should understand before relying on results. The polling rate tool measures effective key repeat rate as seen by the browser, which is capped at approximately 125Hz by most browsers regardless of the keyboard’s hardware polling rate. The latency tool measures combined human reaction time and keyboard response time, not hardware latency in isolation. Some keys including PrintScreen, Fn, Globe, and Touch ID cannot be captured by any browser and are marked as such in the relevant tools.

Tool results are provided for informational and diagnostic purposes only. We do not warrant that results are free from error. Browser differences, operating system settings, driver configurations, and connection type can all affect results. We are not liable for any decision made based on tool results, including decisions to repair, replace, or purchase hardware.
