The short version
The keyboard tests on this site are written in JavaScript that runs in your browser. Your keypresses are handled on your own device and are never transmitted to this site or anywhere else. There are no accounts, no tracking cookies, and no keystroke logging of any kind.
What is not collected
- Keypress data — which keys you pressed, in what order, with what timing. None of it is recorded or transmitted.
- Test results — a completed test exists only on the screen in front of you. Reloading the page discards it.
- Personal identifiers — no name, email address or account is required to use any tool, so none is requested or stored.
- Cross-site tracking — no advertising pixels, no social media trackers, no fingerprinting scripts.
What a web server unavoidably sees
Being accurate here matters more than claiming zero data. Serving a web page requires a request to reach a server, and that request carries technical information which is typically written to a standard server access log by the hosting provider:
- Your IP address
- The date and time of the request
- The page or file requested
- Your browser’s user agent string and preferred language
- The referring page, if you arrived from a link
These logs exist for security and to diagnose server faults. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not linked to anything you did inside a test, and are not sold or shared for marketing. Retention is governed by the hosting provider’s standard log rotation.
Local storage in your browser
Some tools keep track of your progress — for example, which switches you have already verified during a build check — so that the display survives a scroll or a resize. This uses your browser’s own local storage on your device. It is not readable by this site’s server, it contains no personal information, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Cookies
No tracking or advertising cookies are set. WordPress may set a session cookie for logged-in administrators managing the site; this does not apply to ordinary visitors, who are never asked to log in.
Third-party services
The tools do not load third-party scripts, fonts, or embedded content in order to run. If that ever changes — for example if analytics or advertising is introduced — this page will be updated to name the service and describe what it receives, before the change goes live.
Email you send
If you email the address on the contact page, your message and address are stored in that mailbox and used only to reply to you and to fix whatever you reported. Correspondence is not added to a mailing list and is not shared with third parties.
Children
The site collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There is no age gate because there is nothing to gate — no account, no submission form, and no data collection inside the tools.
Your rights
Data protection law in several regions gives you the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. For the keyboard tests there is nothing held to access or delete. For email correspondence, a request sent to the contact address will be actioned.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page. Material changes to what is collected will be described plainly rather than folded into unrelated edits.
No. Every test listens for keyboard events inside your browser and updates the display on screen. Nothing about which keys you pressed is sent anywhere, written to a database, or saved between visits. You can confirm this by loading a test page, disconnecting from the internet, and continuing to use it — the tool works identically with no network connection available.
The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. WordPress itself may set a cookie if you log in to the admin area, which applies to site administrators rather than visitors. Some tools remember your progress within a single page session using your browser’s own local storage — that data never leaves your device and is cleared when you clear your browser storage.

For the keyboard tests there is nothing to delete, because nothing was collected. If you have emailed the contact address and want that correspondence deleted, ask in a reply to the same thread and it will be removed from the mailbox.
